I have had this appliance for a little over a year waited to give the review to see the quality. For the price of the unit you would think it would be a very good one but it doesnt clean well and it doesnt dry well either. You can buy a unit half the price and get one that does the same things. And the finish is starting to fade or come off the handle and top where the buttons are. Dont waste your money on this unit.

Poor drainage system

I have had to have the drain pump replaced several times. Now that the warranty has expired they want me to pay for it. The technicians that replaced the last two pumps said that the pumps are poorly designed. Dont buy one. I have two other Electrolux products that have poor design problems also. Never again.

Bought Brand new paid lots of money but disappointed after 3 years and fairly low utilization every 3 days. Nice looking unit. Dishes stack up well and very quite while doing a good job at getting dishes clean. However the dishes were never thourougly dry even on the Max Dry cycle and using brand name rinse aid. Recently the unit began leaking and displaying fault code i30. Appliance repair company changed water inlet valve and control board. Problem persisted and verdict was that the unit was not repairable. Huge disappointment and will not replace with same brand.

Its a good dishwasher but it doesnt dry the dishes and right off the bat didnt work. Brand new dishwasher and had to get serviced for a sensor part that didnt work which was extremely disappointing. After two weeks it was fixed and the customer service was great but to have a brand new machine have to be serviced from day one was frustrating.

This dishwasher has been nothing but problems from day one. I have to wash dishes twice most of the time. I use the recomended products but my dishes are never clean. I even rinse my dishes before putting them in the dish washer. My kids constantly complain about the smell of the dishes from the dish washer and this is after they have been washed. Worst appliance we ever bought and should have been top of the line appliance. I am now washing by hand.

We purchase our dishwasher in 10/2016 for its features and to complement other Electrolux appliances in our kitchen. Is a beautiful appliance and easy to install but that what everything ends. The first couple months were good it cleaned dishes well but never dried the dishes completely even when selecting Hi-Temp Wash Sanitize and Max-Dry. Now leaves dishes dirty unless we scrub dishes before putting in the dishwasher leaves soap residue in the soap dispenser and at times leaves dishes with soap on them. We have follow trouble shooting recommendations like cleaning the filter water to at least 120 degree recommended Rinse Aid and Soap brand but the issues continue. In couple occasions the IQ-Touch panel start blinking or display an error code with the floor display. I want to love this dishwasher like our other Electrolux appliances but too many inconsistencies. Things that we like: It holds a lot of plates more than many other dishwashers is very quiet the IQ-Touch Control design is very nice and the floor display letting you know how long will take to finish cleaning is very cool. Rack system customization comes handy for different loads. Things that we wish were better: Clean and dry dishes better the marketing sticker inside the dishwasher to use a glue that can be removed. After 8 month the glue still showing inside the door. The 3rd rack to clean and rinse better. Improve drying system.

We bought the dishwasher and its been nothing but problems. First night we ran it it flooded our brand new hardwood floors. Got that fixed next we set the delay on one night only to come home and find it had been running for almost an entire day The pump wont shut off so it consistently runs. Weve now been out a dishwasher over almost 2 months. We have been waiting for an Electrolux certified technician to come out this whole time Im very disappointed considering the cost of the higher end quality we would expect. We even had to replace the glass on our oven 3 times because it kept shattering. Not impressed whatsoever.

I have had nothing but headaches with this unit Since I have owned it I had multiple service calls changed the motherboard 3 times the inside light unit 3 times the soap dispenser 1 etc..along with display issues and random error messages. As far as when it did work it was quite and did an ok job washing yet sometimes it would not even dissolve the Finish soap tablets. All and all I got ping-ponged between warranties and Electrolux staff is not concerned about the consistent issues with their product nor their customer retention. I find it hard to believe there is nothing wrong or recalled on these parts since its suffered the same issues or the fact they did not care on my feedback to produce a better unit. As far as my future kitchen appliances Frigidaire Electrolux Im out Purchased with a 5yr warranty.

Not as good as our old Asko: such disappointment

I chose this model because of its ability to wash the upper rack separately since we seem to use more glasses than plates. Disappointing and frustrating that this is the rack that does not clean at all well. Glasses come out looking smudged and smeary gross. They are easily cleaned by hand so I know this is not dried-on substance. Since the other racks deliver cleaner items I suspect it is a problem mainly of that rack. The glasses are rinsed before being placed in the dishwasher so arent even that dirty - especially compared to plates. Using hotter water and more detergent as suggested in the manual helps a bit but is not the solution I desire for glassware. The presence of the suggestion in the manual suggests to me a history of complaints in this line. Our previous dishwasher cleaned glasses and everything else well without excessive amounts of detergent or of extra hot water. We do also have soft water softened which should also aid in cleaning by enhancing detergent effectiveness.

Big Disappointment

Purchased this dishwasher less than a year ago and have had multiple problems. From the pump to the anti-flood valve to the brain etc. of this dishwasher. The problems are endless and is either not cleaning right or not functioning at all. Even though its still on warranty its difficult to find a certified Electrolux technician and even then getting a part from the company is difficult. The Electrolux customer service is unhelpful and they dont seem to stand by their appliances. I am now stuck with a $900 piece of junk.

10 months and they cannot repair it?

I bought this dishwasher because we remodelate our kitchen. We bought all new Electrodomestic from Electrolux. It should be a great one but after 10 monts of using it was a error I20. Here the tecnicians nees 2 months to repair it. . They changed the electronic card and the pump . I received the mashine and after 3 months it doesnt function any more. Same error. This time Electrolux said is not under guarantee. I should have to by myself a new electronic card.? I can not believe that this is the quality of Electrolux. I am very disappointed . All the other Kitchen appartts that we bought are OK

Cleans well. Controls work fine. Lower basket wont stay on track. Hard to load.

Constant i50 errors due to motor control board

We paid a premium to get Electrolux appliances through our builder. Oven range microwave have been fine but this dishwasher has been AWFUL. Intermittent error code i50 every month or so for first year. Now that we are just out of warranty by 2 weeks...it is a constant problem. As of this minute we can no longer get the dishwasher to work. Do not buy this buggy product.

Best Dishwasher we have ever owned

We have had many dishwashers over 40+ years. Some of them we bought because of the brand name. Rarely did that work out. I didnt know anything about Electrolux except for their vacuum We have had two of those. While our dishwasher has a few quirks that took some time for us to them all the extras and the cleaning ability far outweigh the little quirks. The LED lights inside the silverware rack on the third level the layout of the dish level the bottle washers and most of all..... the quiet. Sometimes when I am watching TV I have to check to make sure it is on it is so quiet. AND it does a great job cleaning.

This was a replacement. It is difficult to start with the touch panel. If you have dry hands or cold hands it does to sense well. I have to make sure my hands are wet or moist. Always anxious as I do not know if I will be able to start or not. Control panel was replaced and this one is better than the first but still not responsive to my touch.
